Virtual Cell Student Registration Walkthrough
This page is dedicated to guiding a student through the registration process for the Virtual Cell. The student should have the name of their school, the name of their class, their activation code (if required by instructor), and their student number.
If you are a teacher or researcher and wishes to create a class, please register at the Faculty Site.
If you are not registering under a specific class and would simply like to use the Virtual Cell for enjoyment/recreation/research, please register at the General Public Site.
Step 1: Point your browser to http://vcell.ndsu.edu

Step 2: Click on the link Student Site and scroll down to the area title "Student Account Registration".

Step 3: Choose the school you are registering for from the drop-down menu (NOTE: If your school isn't listed, your instructor has not activated the class yet. If this is the case, you CANNOT continue the registration process).

Step 4 (May not be required): Enter the access code given to you by your instructor.
Step 5: Click on "Continue Registration".

Step 6: Fill in the registration information to create your account. Make sure you choose your class from the drop-down menu. (NOTE: If your school isn't listed, your instructor has not activated the class yet. If this is the case, you CANNOT continue the registration process).

Step 7: Click on "Create Account". This will register you as a new student and send an e-mail to your e-mail account indicated in the registration page.

Step 8: To play the VCell right away, simply click on the text "Click Here To Continue". Otherwise, you may simply go to http://vcell.ndsu.edu anytime, click on Student Site and enter your username and password into the correct locations, and click "Login".

Step 9: Once logged in, you will see a list of possible modules (this is an example only and may not reflect your specific module list). Click on the various "study assets" that you feel may help you learn about the game. Once you feel ready, click on the module text in blue to begin you Virtual Cell experience!
